Atlanta's tallest baby officially has a name: Lily. The calf’s name was unveiled at Zoo Atlanta on September 8, and was contributed by Tami Honeycutt of Ringgold, Ga. Honeycutt’s name was selected in a random drawing. “I wanted to choose a name that really meant something to me,” Honeycutt said (according to the zoo web site). “I chose Lily in honor of my mother Lillian, who is a special part of my life and is always there for me.” The zoo has involved the community in naming several of the animals recently born there. Lily was born July 22nd.
